This lovely bouquet of flowers are from my co-workers in the Graduate School. The cheerful sunny yellows really brightened up my day when they were delivered!

Post surgery update

Had rotator cuff repair surgery on tuesday. Dr Butcher (great name for a surgeon eh?) said there was a small tear that he stitched up and a big tear that he repaired with an anchor. I'm very swollen and have above moderate amount of pain. The meds are great on the pain, but make me a bit dizzy (not ditsy!). I am off work until approximately the 30th -- and then the 31st is our 15th wedding anniversary! Hope I will be up for dinner out by then!
